Lorraine Stones 6 years agoWe keep getting repeat calls from this number saying they are from out energy supplier, which we know they are not. When challenged they become rude and aggressive. I received a call this morning at 9.20am stating they were from Opus (our energy supplier) when I tried to end the call, he became aggressive so I said I was hanging up, which I did. He immediately called back and I answered on the first ring and heard him say to his colleague, I\'m ready for a fight with this one, I challenged this and he hung up on me. I am getting quite distressed at these persistent calls. (2)

trustworthy number
ended up forgetting about my renewal and recieved a call saying details on the account need to be checked against documents received
ended up finding out i had been ooc for 2 months till i spoke to mr fletcher and he passed me through to an advisor who renewed me back in with my current supplier npower.. 21st century people wake up, everything is done as verbal contracts and everything is dealt with online now! haha

just got off the phone to morgan and checked the number he left me with just to see the legitimacy of the call itself and he was actually telling me the truth about my contract being up for renewal after i checked on my bill also
so i called him back and spoke to an advisor who did a 3 year contract for me and i recieved everything in the post a couple of weeks later in black and white

he works for ecosave energy and its not a scam for all you people that think he is
he works for a consultancy firm and made me aware that my contract was up for renewal WHICH I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT
if it wasnt for him i would have kept paying the out of contract prices (deemed rates) without realising
his company did a full tariff search and found me an amazing quote which beat my current suppliers in contract rates and also fixed them in for 3 years! (so for all you business owners out there, if you want these calls to stop get yourself fixed into a contract and dont just assume people are trying to scam you :) (16)

elizabeth kent 8 years agoi had i very detailed conversation with the gentleman on the other side of this number and he confirmed his name was mo which i assumed was right going off the comment made 3 months ago by someone who left a comment here
he works for a company called ecosave energy which is a consultancy firm/broker
but he is not trying to change your contract or switch you over
he is trying to give customers an oppurtunity to try and save money by giving them options of all different suppliers close to there renewal window so customers are aware of the prices that they are paying and how much they are actually get ripped of by the big 6 energy companies within the uk
i passed him the info he asked me for and realised he was actually telling the truth
i was paying a standing charge of nearly 24p a day and paying a unit rate of 18.47 p per unit and when my renewal windown opend i called him back and asked him what he could do
he transferred me straight through to an advisor and they gave me a couple of options from which i decided which would be best for my bussiness and agreed a 3 year contract with a company which i had never heard of before (opus energy)
i ended up getting a standing charge of 13p and unit rate of 9p per unit !!!!
absolute bargain compared to what i was paying with sse or eon!! (previous suppliers)
when my first bill came i was extremely suprised as none of these comments make sense because i actually saved money by switching over and i would have never known if it wasnt for mo
so basically ... if you have trust issues then obviously stay within your safety bubble
but if you are willing to put yourself out there and actually listen to what some of the people that call your business have to say then do so ...you never know..it could be a benefit as it was for my business and also my pockets

Jane 8 years agoVery pushy. Said he was from SSE maintenance & administration. Wanted to 'check' details of our account (which he had!) I believed him to start with, but then checked with our energy provider. Not exactly a scam, but they organise your contract so that you are charged more for your power and they take a cut.(-12)
