caroline 8 years agoSaid they were from microsoft and that i had hackers. I asked for his office number (this one) and his name was richard wilson. He wanted me to sign in to my computer and follow his instructions. .... errrmmm no! They ring me five times a day. As early as 7am and as late as 10pm. He isnt english... has a very english name though.

Christine 8 years agoPhoned saying he was from mirosoft and that there is a problem with our computer, he wanted me to switch on my computer and follow what he wanted me to do, of course I didn't and asked how he had my number, since I'm ex directory plus on a telephone preference the person was rude and wouldn't listen called me a five year old child, I was rather irate at this point as I said that there is no way mirosoft would phone, he gave me his name and this number by the end of the call he apologised for his behaviour and I hung up(0)

Steve Ellis 8 years agoScam call. Get them all the time. He did the usual I am from Microsoft Security. Gave his name as Thomas Wilson yet was not English , gave me usual long number and said people were trying to hack my computer. Gave the above telephone number and I caught him out by telling him it was scam number and knew he wasn't from Microsoft. I told him that I knew he was dodgy and he put the phone down. (0)
