D Sal 5 years agoPurports to be from BT "because our equipment shows you are having problems with your router" and "this is a free service" and "we will give you an upgraded router free of charge".
I am not with BT for broadband, I do not have a problem with my router, and the speeds I am receiving are better than the minimum guaranteed. The caller still tried to persist which suggests that this is likely to be a SCAM. (Sounded like he was phoning from his kitchen with kids in the background).
