john bridger 6 years agoI was cold called by somebody saying they were from TPS and asked to confirm certain details - which they already knew
firstly my name, address, postcode and that I pay my phone bill by direct debit and to confirm the expiry date of the card used at which point I suggested the caller didn't need to know any of these details and asked the caller to give me a number to call back on as it was number withheld.
He gave me the number 442036211317and I rang off with no intention of calling back.
I then checked with TPS online and all indications are that there is no need to confirm an ongoing subscription and checked we are already registered so assume this was a phishing exercise.
If not then my apologies to all concerned but the caller did become slightly aggressive when I was less than co-operative.
