Just received a voice message saying I had done something fraudulent and not signed papers, that had now been sent back. An arrest is underway if I do not comply, and my tax file number will be cancelled and I will be executed. Considering I’ve never been called by this number before, and they didn’t address me by my name. I was instantly aware it was a hoax.(0)

Graham 5 years agoI just received a FRAUDULANT call from this number claiming to be the ATO advising me that I am to be prosecuted for Tax fraud unless I pay the outstanding amount of nearly $5000.
When I refused and told them I'll await the arrival of Police to arrest me they hung up.(1)
